When your dying inside
Barbed wire under your skin
A knife in your back
Gashes on your wrists
Blood running down your arms
Dripping from your elbows
You feel like tearing out your hair
One handful at a time
Pain is never glory
Being human a curse
Tears burn your eyes
Like acid
You forget for one moment
And its all gone
Only to return
Your toes are icy cold
As you taste the salt
Staining your cheeks
And you feel the hopelessness
Its hard to breathe
You hope to die
Its easy
You just have to hold your breath
